"Eggcelent"
Croatian artist Ivan Meštrović, namesake of his equally famous uncle, the sculptor Ivan Meštrović, presented his work in Prague at the end of January. His installation in the form of twelve eggs, the number of which symbolized the twelve apostles, could be seen in the Chapel of the Holy Cross at Prague Castle.
The eggs on display are identical in shape, but differ in the materials used, which are unique. These include 8000-year-old wood, Italian marble, aluminum foam or onyx. Currently, several specimens of Meštrović's EGGS can be seen in the lobby of the Four Seasons Hotel.
